Attention all Kindness Challenge participants!
I’d like to officially welcome returning and new participants to the 2nd annual Kindness Challenge! The quote for this year’s challenge is-
I think that’s what kindness does, it uplifts everyone; those who are kind, those who receive kindness, and those who witness it. The theme of the images for this year will be beach photos to go hand in hand with the quote.
This year’s challenge will be a little different than last year. Returning participants will remember that last year we focused on self-kindness the first week and then gradually extended the kindness to those in our inner circle until it reached the world around us. After reading the reflection posts, I realized there was room to focus on self-kindness for more than just the first week. This year we’ll spend the first few weeks practicing self-kindness in different ways and using that to help us be more kind to others.
For those that haven’t signed up for the challenge yet, it’s not too late! By joining the challenge it’s not that you aren’t already kind, you’re just making a commitment to increase the kindness in the world. You can sign up by clicking here.
I’m excited to embark on this 7-week journey again. Last year it impacted people in a very powerful way. I encourage you to share this challenge with those in your inner circle to participate whether they’re bloggers or not. This is a personal challenge on a blogging platform but people can participate on social media or just journal it. I also encourage you to visit other participants, part of the fun is bonding with others! There were also some incredible connections made between bloggers last year. As the challenge moves forward, you can find other participants by clicking on the links in the comments of the post from the week before or by searching #revofkindness across social media. Don’t be afraid to like, comment, or share they’ll appreciate it!
I can’t wait to see where the journey takes us this year. Thank you for your commitment to raising the tide!
If you haven’t already, feel free to save the badge to display on your sidebar and share on social media.
