I’ve restructured the units for the book club. If you’ve already read them, no worries! If you haven’t joined the book club or you’ve joined but haven’t read the units yet, you’re in luck! I’ve condensed them and made it a little easier to participate. If you haven’t joined yet, we’re reading “How to Talk So Kids Will Listen & Listen So Kids Will Talk“. It’s a great book that doesn’t just give the theory behind communication but also teaches us to do so more efficiently.
If you’re struggling with the battle of the wills, find yourself getting frustrated or overwhelmed, or simply want to find other ways of communicating with your children more effectively, I’d love to invite you to join! The great thing about this online book club forum is that the conversation never ends. So whether you joined last month or yesterday, you’ll be able to be involved in the discussion. It doesn’t matter what age your kids are because this book is about communication that applies to people of all ages.
Each unit is password protected, so if you want to join the discussion, please add your name to the list. I regularly check for new members and send out the information so they can join the discussion. This is a safe place to connect with other parents, talk about what we’ve tried that hasn’t worked, and share our experience as we learn new tools to incorporate into our parenting toolbox.
Do you have your copy yet?
I look forward to welcoming new members and continuing the conversation with those who have already joined. If you haven’t joined, you can find more details here. If you’re already a member, you can find the latest discussion unit here.
Are you interested in joining? What’s holding you back? Have you ever been a part of an online book club? Share your thoughts in the comments!
